Lions Clubs International is the largest service club organization in the world. More than 1.4 million members in over 48,000 clubs are serving in 200 countries and geographic areas around the globe. Since 1917, Lions have strengthened local communities through hands-on service and humanitarian projects, and they extend their service impact through the generous support of their Lions Clubs International Foundation. They are focused on supporting vision, the environment, childhood cancer, hunger, diabetes and other pressing humanitarian needs to help address some of the biggest challenges facing humanity.

The Fort Erie Lions Club was chartered on February 25, 1927 with 35 members and was the 33rd club Chartered in Canada. Their club sponsor was the Niagara Falls Lions Club. Over these many decades dedicated men and women have contributed their time, talents and resources in service to their community.

The Fort Erie Lions Club has been the sole sponsor of Allan Troup Squadron since our inception in October of 1943. The Lions help provide the squadron in many ways from providing a place to parade and conduct program activities to sponsoring some of the many activities the squadron partakes in and so much more.
